Allison Spooner was born and raised in the Hummelstown area; attended Lower Dauphin schools and grew up worshipping at Derry Presbyterian Church. After graduating from Mansfield University with a degree in Music Education, Allison worked as an elementary music teacher at Steelton-Highspire Elementary School. During her time as a teacher Allison responded to a call to ministry and began studies at Lancaster Theological Seminary where she graduated with her M.Div. in May of 2016.
Allison was ordained as a teaching elder and installed as pastor of Faith Presbyterian Church and Hope United Presbyterian Church at a service at Derry Presbyterian Church on March 26, 2017.
Rev. Spooner is an enthusiastic worship leader, who is dedicated to cultivating fellowship and community as the Church works for reconciliation. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and spending time in nature, reading, playing her flute, traveling and spending time with her family.
Caleb Flick serves as Organist and Director of Music at Faith Presbyterian Church since 2013. He is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pennsylvania and has served churches throughout South Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania for over ten years. He divides his time between careers in the insurance industry and music. In addition to his work Faith Church, Caleb studied piano and chamber music at the American Conservatory in Fontainebleau, France, appeared as a collaborative and guest artist with Opera NJ, Princeton, New Jersey, served as the Principal Keyboardist with the Reading Symphony and Reading Pops Orchestras, and offered courses and taught privately at Dickinson College in Carlisle. He welcomes interested parties of all ages and ability levels to consider sharing their talents with Faith Church through special music presentations or as a part of an ensemble.
Wanda Beaver became a part of the music ministry at Faith Immanuel Presbyterian Church in July 2017 as Associate of Music Ministries. Her prior commitments over the last twenty years included serving as Music Director/Organist at Highland Presbyterian Church in Newport, and Music Director/Organist at Progress Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg. She has also performed as piano accompanist for various musical productions over the years.
Wanda enjoys spreading the joy of music through the worship service. She firmly believes that music should be an inspiration to all, but most importantly, done for the Glory of God. Wanda and her husband, Wayne, reside in Mechanicsburg where she teaches private piano lessons.
Deborah (Debbie) Kissinger has worked at Faith Presbyterian Church for the past 19+ years. Her current position is serving as the Church Office Administrator. Debbie is married and is a life-long resident of Central Pennsylvania. She also has a son and daughter-in-law who reside in the Harrisburg area. She enjoys cooking and baking in her free time.
Carolyn Frischkorn serves as the Financial Secretary for Faith Immanuel Presbyterian church. She previously worked for Progess-Immanuel Presbyterian Church until the merger with Faith Presbyterian Church. She is a graduate of Messiah College, member of West Shore Baptist Church, married to Rev. Dr. Frank Frischkorn, has two daughters Eryn Frischkorn and Rebekah Mulcahey, a son-in-law Dustin Mulcahey, and Baylee their dog. During her free time she loves to scrapbook, travel, spend time with family and friends, and Baylee.
Joe joined the staff of Faith Presbyterian Church in June of 2013. When he is not busy here, you can find him at the Lower Paxton Friendship Center where he also works part-time. He is married to Jenny, and they share their lives with their nephew, William. Joe enjoys gardening and working outdoors in his spare time.
