Donald and Dorothy Stabler memorial CONCERTS ON COLONIAL SERIES

Consecration Sunday Concert  –  Suites & Treats –  A Concert of Voice, Brass, Clarinet, Organ, Piano and Percussion

AT FAITH IMMANUEL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH on Sunday, October 27, 2019  3:00 p.m.

The Vintage Brass directed by Mr. Jim Milbrand, Percussionist Tim Rupert, Vocalist Tamara Black, Clarinetist Steven Christ, along with Piano/Organ players, Caleb Flick, Barb Buckingham and Wanda Beaver, will combine their musical talents to present a concert at Faith Immanuel Presbyterian Church at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019. The concert is open to the public with a free will offering during the program.

The program will include musical suites and various musical treats for the audience. You will hear George Gershwin’s famous piano feature, Concerto in F, as performed by Caleb Flick and the combined ensemble.  Tammy, Steve and Caleb will also perform a combined piece by Franz Schubert, “The Shepherd on the Rock”.  Other featured pieces by the Vintage Brass will include “A Simple Song” from the Bernstein Mass, “Saturday In The Park” and “Classical Gas” featuring Barb on Piano.  Tammy will be presenting “Vanilla Ice Cream” from Jerry Bock’s “She Love Me”.  You will also hear piano/ organ duets from Caleb and Wanda along with Barb’s outstanding rendition of “You’ve Got A Friend in Me”.  Barb will also be introducing Scott Fields on Alto Saxophone to our program for her arrangement of “Just The Way You Are”.  Full combined selections will include “You Raise Me Up” and “Ain’t We Got Fun”.  In addition, there will be some other surprise selections along the way!
